Looked at by many as the best dive site in Ireland, the North wall is a dive of exceptional quality. The topography is nothing short of spectacular with intriguing rock formations creating shelving and arches. The walls descend down to depths of hundreds of meters, with currents in the area often being quite strong and having the potential to get vicious. The wall begins with a drop off to about 20 meters, followed by another drop off which extends down to the sea floor, for many this is quite a daunting dive site, with the currents and walls that dwarf the diver.
