About Shark point

Shark point is situated along the east coast of Gili Trawangan and occupies quite a large area. You start in shallow water and follow the slope which gets gradually deeper to a plateau at about 24m down. The coral covering is not too spectacular, but there is a fair chance to see whitetip and blacktip sharks and sometimes even gray sharks. There are also often tutles around. There is a sandy area fulled with garden eels. Shark point is a popular dive site.
