Often dived along with Shark Plateau. Batee Tokong means 'Central Rock'. It has scenery is amazing and it is teeming with marine life. Batee Tokong tends to be a favourite site for most short and long term divers in Pulau Weh. So far all visitors have agreed that it is the #1 Moray place in the world: fimbriated, giant, white eye, snowflake, whitemouth, yellowhead, zebra and yellow margined. Blue ribbon eels reaching out for orange anthiases, honey comb morays living together with their giant cousins and our local unique variety of the masked moray outnumbering all these other morays together by far. Swim over a few square metres of rocks and count at least a dozen of these morays sticking their heads out of their hiding places. This site is a round plateau with one of the rocks sticking out of the water forming a vertical wall of about 20m. A steep slope densely covered with fan gorgonions continues downwards until well over 40m, where a second wall starts.
