About Angel Reef

Located just south of Panjang Reef, Angel Reef features healthy corals in it's protected, shoreward shallows, and a vertical wall, dropping to the depth of over 40 metres. You'll encounter impressive schools of rounded batfish, redtooth triggerfish and long-fin bannerfish while making your way down the steep bank to the top of the wall. The stunning wall is fulled with colourful soft tree corals and a few hardy sheet corals. Yellowtail tuna often streak past, while hunting in the deep channels. This large dive site's, at the Sumbawa island of Moyo, common predators are the Black-tip reef sharks.
