About The Jetty

The Jetty boats beautiful sandy beach and calm sheltered waters with huge amounts of hard coral and a vast number of marine life. Many people use this abandoned jetty for picnics, snorkeling and swimming. Underneath the jetty one can see Lionfish, Baitfish, Moray Eels, Trumpet fish, Scorpion fish and Damsels. On the rocky bottom one will see different underwater plants, brain corals, plate corals, nudibranch, lobster and algae. On the shoreline sand gobies and shrimp live in abundance. Other creatures that live here are Oriental Sweetlips, Barracuda, Butterfly fish, Groupers and Porcupine Puffers as well as cuttlefish that breed here.
