About Whale Rock

To reach this dive site, head drive through the East end of Utila and continue towards the North.On your left hand side will be Pumpkin Hill, continue on to Whale Rock, it is located near by.The dive site consists of a fringing reef which extends out from Pumpkin Hill.This site is named because of area resembling the shape of a whale. Located just over 45 meters depth is a swimthrough, maximum depths here are just over 50 meters making this dive unsuitable for the less experieced divers.Marine life includes Grunts, Jacks, Barracudas and more.Some interesting marine growth upon the reef as well
