South Seamount 1 is the more eastern of two of the most distant seamounts off of the south coast of Utila Island in the Honduras. As with all the seamounts off the southern coast of Utila Island, this is a shark rich region and popular with macro photographers in search of that perfect shot with whale and/or nurse sharks. A long boat ride.
