About Trahilos Bay

A shot line marks the location of the reef which leads to three rock columns rising from the seabed to the surface. There is no current so it is an easy swim between the reef and the pinnacles. There are many fish around the pinnacles and a large number of octopi; nearly every rock that had an overhang had one under it, some were large ones too! I counted over twenty in this one small area. Even more octopus can be seen at night than during the day.
