About Kalithea

Kalithea Bay has been famous for its therapeutic springs from before the age of the Knight Templers. The present spa was built by the Italians in 1928, has been recently renovated and now includes a small museum and gallery. Kalithea means beautiful view in Greek and this stunning bay certainly lives up to its name. Kalithea Bay is renowned for its underwater caverns and unusual rock formations. The caverns are very open, easily accessible to qualified divers suitable for all qualifications
