The New Flame was a Panamanian Registered Scrap carrying Vessel. She collided with Danish Fuel Tanker in August 2007. She began sinking and at the same time, polluted the water due to a oil spill she caused. This had a negative impact on the environment and marine life. Today she rests in shallow waters and fairly intact, hosting a wide variety of marine life and coral growth.
