About Nordstierman Wreck

The Nordstiernan was a Swedish Registered Merchant Barkentine. She sank in 1809 while carrying a cargo of flax and hemp from Russia. This is when she steered into bad weather and struck a rock, ripping a hole in her hull. She sank shortly after. Today she rests in 25 meters of water is is mostly broken up. Her remains are covered in coral and home to a wide variety of marine life. Interesting dive.
