About Rocky Bay

Located on the western shore of Tavewa Island and is less than 10 minutes by boat from Tavewa. This reef follows the edge of Tavewa Island and has a maximum depth of 20 meters. The reef's main feature is the hard corals and sponges. There are a few canyons and swim throughs. It is common to see eagle rays,massive school of bumb head parrort fish that feed between 5-10meters and there is a resident white tip reef shark. Expected visibility ranges from 15 to 20 meters, this site is excellent for beginners, yet offers plenty for experienced divers.
