About Ulysses Wreck

The Ulysses is also known as one of The Grandfather wrecks to be found in the Red Sea. She sank on August 16th 1887 while enroute from London to Penang when she struck a reef system. At the time of this incident she was under the command of Captain Arthur Bremner. Today she can be found resting in shallow waters of 20 meters. Surrounding by a spectacular display of marine life and coral growth. Very topographical and offers excellent photo opportunity. Although most of her remains can be found in a shallow depth, some of her remains are also strewn in a sandy bottom as deep as 30 meters.
