About The Caledonian

This is a very deep wreck dive and is only recommended for very advanced and technical divers with endless experience. The caledonian was a French Steel hulled passenger and liner and a third in a series of 7 rigged three masted barkentine vessels. She sank on 30 June 1917 while enroute to Madagascar. She struck two mines laid by a German Submarine under command of Captain Robert Sprenger. She sank shortly after to where she now rests in a depth of 120 meters below the surface. Great for exploring and seeing some rare corals and marine life.
