About Kimon M

This 106 meter long Cargo vessel sunk in December 1978 and now lies at a maximum depth of 32 meters with her bow reaching 6 meters. This 105 meter long vessel was built in 1952 and was sank in 1978 when she met the fate of many of the ships in the area and ended up colliding with the reef.Luckily no lives were lost during the incident.During the sinking the ship broke apart and she rolled onto her starboard side.There is still an area missing of the reef where the ship collided.She now lies on her starboard side at a depth of 27 meters.The remains of the wreck are fragile and penetration would be extremely dangerous
