About El Shugarat

One of few dive sites around Dahab that requires a boat to reach, El Shugarat means "Little Trees" in Arabic and was named this due to the vast number of gorgonian fans which divers come across which form coral forests. There is a fascinating canyon which can be located at a depth of 16 meters. Marine life in this area, as with all of Dahab is very good. Do not miss out on this site as it has plenty of rock structures as well as beautiful corals, sponges and other marine growth.
