A fascinating dive site. The dive begins with a descent down a buoy line which will lead down to a depth of 27 meters. Hot Sophia is one of the Dominican dive sites where you can experience the effects of the volcanic surroundings. The sand on the sea floor is extremely warm when touched. There is also a reef covered in corals and sponges.
