"Sunshine Island Bornholm, in addition to smoked herring and round churches, also known for having some of Denmark's best diving. There are plenty of opportunities on all the good wrecks which lie around the island in the Baltic's clear water, but there are also plenty of excellent shore dives, with great variation between individual sites. Just south of Rønne there is a place where you can have multiple needs met at one time. There is a natural diving, there are wrecks, snorkeling and modest depth dives. In November 1970 a large freighter named Evi Antonatos ran aground on the southwest coast of Bornholm. It was not long before the vessel was damaged so badly that she had cut up. This is the easiest way to go penetrate the wreck site. The debris of the wreck are currently bottom of the sound at depth and is an advanced dive.
