About Orphurus

Orphurus is a unique underwater terrain characterized by a large indentation in the sea bed, notable for the overhangs it creates all around. This topographical feature is further enhanced by the presence of several gullies, contributing to the complexity and intrigue of the site. These natural formations offer divers an exciting opportunity to explore and encounter the marine life that calls these crevices and shaded areas home. The site ranges up to 10 meters in depth, making it accessible for all levels of divers. The visibility at Orphurus can vary between approximately 7.5 meters at minimum to 22.5 meters at maximum. This range in visibility allows for different experiences, from a more intimate exploration of the site's details during lower visibility, to a broader appreciation of its overall structure when the waters are clear. Please note that these values are approximate, and actual conditions may vary depending on weather, sea conditions, and time of year.
