Lighthouse Wreck is a dive site located in Cyprus, named after the wreck of 'The Ektimon', a 5000-ton Greek freighter. The freighter met its end in 1971 when it ran aground and subsequently sank. Over time, the wreck has become relatively fragmented due to the impact of past storms, however, its two propellers still remain intact. The site offers a shallow dive with a maximum depth of roughly 6 meters. Visibility can range from approximately 8.5 meters to 25.5 meters, providing a clear view of the fragmented wreck and its surrounding underwater environment. Despite its fragmented state, the Lighthouse Wreck still offers an interesting exploration site for divers seeking a piece of maritime history under the waves of Cyprus.
