About Stella Maris

This is the house reef for Lion's Dive and Beach Resort w/ Ocean Encounters as the on site a full service dive shop (Padi 5 Star IDC Centre). They offer services to all levels of divers from recreational to techinical. The Stella Maris reef is a fantastic house reef suitable to all levels w/ minimal currents. The reason for the name is because the owners of Ocean Encounters discovered a deep wreck (100m) right in front! WOW!! What the chances! But, truly the best parts of the reef are from 10-20m where there is lots of light, great viz and great examples of hard and soft corals not to mention ton's of reef life!!
