About Playa Manzalino

. Playa Mansalina is towards the northwest of San Juan. Follow the small signs along the side of the dirt road . You can park close to the water. The beach is an sandy strip There is lots of shade from the Mansalina trees. Remember that although these trees are pretty, their little apple-like fruit is poisonous and contact with the leaves can cause severe irritation. Enter at the sandy beach. Currents and waves are usually light. There is some very nice snorkelling along the rocks beside the cliffs. Swim straight out about 135 meters to reach the drop-off. The wall starts in 9 meter of water. It falls below 36 meter. This is a good dive for both macro and wide angle photos.
