About Oswaldo's Drop-off

This is an easy shore dive, suitable for all levels of divers and snorkelers. You will have to pay a small fee to gain access at the Superclub Breezes' house reef. There you will find an onsite dive shop, bathrooms, showers, restaurant, shade, and chairs available. From the neighbouring public beach of Marie Pompoen the site can also be accessed for free. The current is usually mild, and the surface can get a bit choppy. To reach the drop-off swim straight out past the artificial breakwater over the shallow. The shallow area is great for snorkelling and novice divers. The reef wall starts in 6 meter of water, dropping to a depth of 40 meter. Both directions are good; just start your dive into the current. The Car Pile can be accessed from the same location, so those with deep diving experience might want to consider making this a two tank outing. Just remember to keep a close eye on your bottom time.
