About Black Coral Garden (Pos Spano / Spaanse Put)

This site is about a five minutes swim from Playa Hulu and the beach is intimate and secluded. The site is located off private property so it might be better to access it from boat. It is named for the abundance of black coral. This is a unique site with lots to offer. The reef wall starts a 90 meter off shore in 10 meter of water, dropping down to over 45 meter. The black coral can be found between 10 meter and 30 meter. This is the perfect site for wide-angle photos. The terrain here is steeper and more rugged than other dives in the area. Consider a guided dive; the DM can point out the unusual black coral that resembles a common pine tree limb. -
