About

MAD ABOUT DIVING opened in 2001 under the name Crocodive and, three years later, the shop became a PADI Dive Resort. Early in 2008 Michel Lavoie, their resident PADI Course Director, got involved. Michel brought with him the highest credentials possible within the PADI system and 20 years of experience. Later that same year, Michel was instrumental in having the dive shop become the first in Osa Peninsula to be awarded the prestigious PADI 5 Star IDC rating.Michel and Ginette took over in 2009 and brought new vision and direction. The name changed to MAD ABOUT DIVING to reflect their passion for and commitment to scuba diving, diver training, marine protection and conservation and true sustainable tourism.
