About Carrie Lee Wreck

This scuba dive consists of a freighter wreck which used to carry supplies between the islands. She capsized 15 kilometers East of Grand Cayman after she lost stability. There were numerous attempts to salvage her within a two week period, but all failed. She eventually sunk at a depth of 30 meters but as the years have passed she has drifted deeper on the ocean floor and now lies at a depth between 50 and 80 meters. The bow now sits at a depth of 78 meters while the deck is at a depth of 60 meters slanting up to a depth of 52 meters. This is an interesting wreck dive with good marine life and interesting coral growth. But due to the depth of this vessel it should only be dived by trimix divers
