About Orlebar Point

Orlebar Point is a very convenient and easily reached dive in the Forwood Channel adjacent to Gabriola Island in the greater Vancouver Island area of British Columbia. The dive site itself is nestled between a rocky outcrop and the point itself and must be reached by boat. The visibility here is normally excellent and the current variable. Underwater the rocked bottom has interesting gullies and caves alternating with boulders which provide a fantasy environment for visitors who are able to indulge in this topographical marvel. Great macro and micro photographic opportunities.
