About Iroquois Wreck

The Iroquois is a french built vessel known to be the oldest wreck in the great lakes. She was built in 1759 and sank in 1763 after striking Niagara Shoal. This site has strong currents and is recommended for intermediate - advanced divers only. Caution: Boat traffic.
