About Acme Propeller

The Acme is one of our favourite deeper Lake Erie wrecks, laying in 130' of fresh water, 20 miles SW of Pt. Colborne, ON, Canada. This 190' wooden steamer started taking on water through a leak and sank in November 1867. This hogging arch steamer has an impressive windlass and the arches are absolutely gorgeous, rising up over 20 feet from the bottom. Divers have gotten narc'd on this wreck, so a light Helitrox mix or Nitrox is highly recommended.
