At Rec and Tek SCUBA we believe that scuba diving is not just a recreational sport but also a fellowship of unique explorers of the underwater world.Rec & Tek SCUBA in Hamilton, Ontario, is a unique scuba diving community that has been serving the complete scuba diving rental, scuba diving supply, scuba tank filling, and scuba instruction needs of the greater Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Toronto, Saint Catharines, and the Niagara areas, since 2001. As your premier scuba shop, not only do we understand the knowledge and science behind this great sport, we create a comfortable and relaxed environment for all of our customers, no matter what your need! If you’re looking for an experienced scuba professional that knows first-hand the one-of-a-kind feeling of breathing underwater, it doesn’t get any better than owner Mitch Wilson. As the sole proprietor of Rec & Tek SCUBA Inc., he has been a certified NAUI Open Water SCUBA Diver since 1995. Mitch first became a professional in diving when he became a PADI Divemaster in 1998, now certified and insured as an ACUC Advanced SCUBA Instructor, a TDI Technical Diving International Instructor and an SDI Open Water SCUBA Instructor. Mitch enjoys instructing both novice and experienced divers alike.
