This was a 90 meter, 60 Gun French Frigate that was launched in 1824. In December 1839, after failing to participate in battle, she was ordered back to France. Enroute they encountered a heavy storm and the captian steered towards shelter. By the time they saw land, the captain had already steered her into the bermuda Reef Structure, where she was claimed. Its a beautiful wreck reef with abundance in marine life and corals.
