The Kate was A English Steamer built in England in 1874. In November 1878 she struck a unknown reef on her way to France but continued her journey. Soon after this incident, the Kate hit a bar which damaged her hull and caused her to take on water. This resulted in her sinking. She makes a great dive, covered in coral and teeming with marine life.
