About Blackwood Bay

Blackwood Bay is a dive site located on the Southern end of San Salvador. It features a large sandy area and is suitable for divers of all levels. The site offers an easy, shallow entry that slopes to a maximum depth of 6 meters. The visibility is excellent, reaching up to approximately 45 meters, and the current is light. This makes it an ideal location for dive training, beginner diving, and night diving.

The marine life at Blackwood Bay is diverse, with groupers, tropical fish, and turtles being common sightings. The site is also characterized by its suitability for night diving and other activities.
