The Brunette was an iron hulled 3 masted barques built in 1859 by Chas.Lungley, Deptford, and London as PRIDE OF THE WEST for Owners: McIlwraith, McEacharn & Co of Melbourne. Her overall length was 140ft,her beam was 25.4ft and her draught was 15.8ft giving her a displacement weight of 375 tons. She was converted to a lighter sometime prior to 1870. She was scuttled in the ships graveyard July 1913. Location: Graveyard Depth: 70m
