This is a man-made island that was built in the 1900's specifically to defend Melbourne from other ships entering from the South Channel. It has an underground fortress, made of steel and concrete. Caves are formed by granite boulders, which is also home to a variety of marine life. This site has great photography opportunities and is recommended for any level divers.
