Protected by the Commonwealth Historic Ship Act, this 900 tones iron Braque was on its way from Scotland to Australia with a cargo of whiskey, linen etc. The vessel ran aground in 1887 off the Gold Coast at Southport and attempts to salvage her were intervened by the weather. The wreck now lies in 12m of water and has been well accepted by the ocean.
