A clipper built for speed'.holds the record for fastest wind driven sailer from England to Australia held for 140years! She met her fate on a trip to Geelong with prospectors aboard in search of gold. She docked with her crew leaving her and weeks later she was still stuck there and then caught fire. The reports state this was due to spontaneous combustion from the wool in her hull, and due to a lack of advanced fire fighting gear she was cut loose and pushed away from the other vessels at Cunningham Pier. She burned the whole night through and still needed Melbourne military to blast her to sinking. It took a day of shelling to take care of this. There's not much left but cannonballs and some artifacts. Best done from a boat, and mark your position due to traffic. Or just dive under the boat to be safe!
