This magical spot looks a bit like a sunken oasis. An island reef in the middle of a sandy 'desert'. Its only 3m high and 130m long and surprising to see under the amount of marine life that gravitates to it. It's close to Bargara Beach and there are even a few rocks strewn about which are believed to have found their way their as a result of the Hummock volcanic eruption. The vis isn't always ideal due to the Burnett River. The dive can be done as a drift too down to Burkitt's Reef if the currents are willing to play along. It's close to the Shark Drum lines but there aren't as many sightings as one would expect.
